How I Came to Homeopathy

I grew up in a family that relied on homeopathy. My mother struggled for years with the side effects of conventional medicines, and seeing her do better under careful homeopathic treatment is what set me on this path. I trained in homeopathy, qualified as a registered homeopathic physician, and started IZ Homeo in Oxygen, Chattogram.

Alongside my practice I run a licensed pharmacy that stocks the medicines I prescribe, so what I dispense comes from established manufacturers and is labelled with your name and directions.

How I Practise

I practise classical homeopathy as Hahnemann described it and as Professor George Vithoulkas teaches it: one remedy at a time, chosen after a full case history. Two people with the same diagnosis will usually receive different remedies, because the remedy is matched to the person, not to the name of the disease.

That is why a first consultation for a long-standing problem can take up to an hour. I ask about the complaint, but also about appetite, sleep, digestion, temperament, past illnesses and family history. The more complete the picture, the better the prescription.

What I Will Always Tell You

• Keep taking any medicine prescribed by another doctor. I will never ask you to stop it without that doctor.
• Homeopathy is not for emergencies. Chest pain, breathing difficulty, heavy bleeding or a very sick child need a hospital now.
• I will give you an honest timeline. Some problems improve in days, long-standing ones take weeks or months.
• Medicine prices are told to you before anything is sent, and are separate from the consultation fee.
