How We Approach Allergy and Skin Problems
Skin and allergy complaints tend to come back when only the surface is treated. In classical homeopathy the rash, the sneezing or the itching is treated as one expression of a wider pattern, so the consultation looks at your digestion, sleep, stress, family history and the way the complaint behaves through the seasons, not only at the affected skin.
A photo of the affected area on the WhatsApp call helps, and so does a note of when it started, what you have applied or taken so far, and what makes it flare up. Steroid creams and antihistamines prescribed by another doctor should be continued until that doctor advises otherwise.

- What makes it worse: heat, cold, bathing, sweat, particular foods, dust, stress
- Season, time of day or night when it is worst
- Whether creams or tablets suppressed it, and what happened after
- Sneezing, runny nose, breathing difficulty or asthma alongside the skin
- Family history of allergy, asthma, eczema or psoriasis
What to Expect
Acute hives or a fresh allergic flare often settle within days. Long-standing eczema, psoriasis or chronic rhinitis usually change over weeks, sometimes with a short period where the skin looks a little worse before it improves. We tell you what to watch for and when to message us.

Can homeopathy be taken with antihistamines or steroid creams?
Yes. Continue whatever another doctor prescribed and tell us about it. We plan the homeopathic treatment around it and never ask you to stop a medicine without that doctor.
Do I need to send photos?
It helps a lot. Take clear photos in daylight before the call, and keep older photos if you have them, so we can see how the condition has changed.
How long does treatment for eczema or allergy take?
It depends on how long you have had it and how much it has been suppressed. We give an honest estimate after the first consultation, and follow-ups within 2 weeks for the same treatment are free.
